FinGoal is an insights platform that sits on top of digital banking and personal finance data. We enrich this data and build rich profiles of each end user enabling us to provide users with customized calls to action on their transactions.

FinGoal’s insights platform has 3 main features:

1. Complete Data (previously called LinkMoney): Customers can get a full 360 view of their users by linking in all their accounts. We also enrich that data to provide more information about their transactions. We also offer Instant Account Verification and custom enrichment.
2. Analyzed Data: Users vote with their wallets. We build the richest possible profile of each end user based on how they vote with their wallet. This feature is currently only being used internally by the FinGoal team.
3. Actionable Insights (previously called FindMoney): We use the customer profiles to develop customized calls to action for the user on their spending transactions.

With all of the above features, after customer authorization, FinGoal processes feeds of consumer transactions from checking and credit accounts through LinkMoney or is granted access to the customer’s own data through an API feed.

At no point does FinGoal ever transmit or hold a customer’s account names or password. FinGoal does not hold or move money for customers.

Although FinGoal never touches a user’s most financial sensitive information (e.g. SSN or card numbers), we do hold something equally important: the user’s trust. As a white-labeled solution serving trusted financial brands, FinGoal must act with great care and stewardship over the entire data and experience flow.

In the interest of transparency, FinGoal makes our policies, controls, and architecture public. Security by obscurity has no place in modern financial services.
